Hand-shaped by designer Tony Lee in collaboration with big water, big game, and tournament anglers, the Knarr's hull is engineered for maximum speed, stability, and tracking in conditions that would expose the limitations of a lesser boat. Large ocean swells, heavy surf, strong currents, and open lake crossings are what this hull was built for, making it a serious option for Canadian paddlers venturing out on big Great Lakes water, coastal BC, or any exposed body of water where conditions can change quickly. The Flex Drive Mark IV provides the propulsion to match, delivering faster, quieter, and more durable pedal performance than any previous version, with forward and reverse capability and an auto-retracting lower unit for shallow water protection.

Deck organisation on the Knarr FD is among the most sophisticated Jackson has put into a fishing kayak. The full-perimeter TriTrak system provides near-unlimited electronics and accessory mounting with clean, integrated cable management throughout. Tall gunnels protect a six-rod management system that keeps rods secure through launches, landings, and rough water. The improved steering system handles one or two-handed operation with ease in big waves or tight spots, the EZ Hi-Lo seat adjusts one-handed, and both bow and stern are engineered for trolling and electric motor installation via the standard four-bolt stern pattern and flat bow mounting area.
