The iRobot Roomba is a powerful autonomous vacuum cleaner that has two counter rotating brushes and efficiently reaches deep into your carpet to remove dirt, dust, and pet hair.
The virtual wall is the part in the Roomba that creates an invisible barrier that Roomba will not cross. This invisible barrier can be used to confine Roomba to a particular room or area, and preventing it from getting too close to electrical or computer cords, delicate objects on the floor, etc.
The user simply needs to point the arrow at the top of the beam hole in the direction in which he wants to create the virtually wall, up to seven feet long. The virtual wall also creates a halo of protection around itself, preventing Roomba from getting too close. The virtual wall is made for the Roomba 400 series and is compatible and interchangeable with other virtual walls.
It can be turned on and off automatically and can works for up to 6 months, depending on batteries and usage. Virtual walls ship in a 2 pack.
