I Am Wise: Little lessons from Proverbs

The Book of Proverbs offers the gift of several practical and moral guidance keys for living a life that honors God.When I read Proverbs 4:1-4, I received that the home is the primary point of instruction for children and I took this to heart. I believe God wants us educate our children on who God is and how they can walk in righteousness.Proverbs 22:6 Train a child up in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.God gave us an important responsibility to plant seeds in our children's heart and water them with the Word of God. Whether you are a parent, family member, friend, educator, etc. your encounters with children should be rooted in God's love and instruction.While reading and teaching my son the beautiful knowledge that God provides in Proverbs, I felt lead to share some our favorite scriptures in this book and apply them to how Gods children should walk in everyday life.I pray that this book supplements the biblical teachings the child who is reading receives.Please use this book as a work book as well, and answer the prompts at the bottom of most of the pages.The goal is to process the material that God has given us in Proverbs, meditate on it, and apply it to your everyday life.Reference the scriptures listed in this book in your Bible for a deeper understanding of God's teachings of wisdom.
