Built, tested and raced on a World Cup Downhill circuit the third generation of the Maxxis High Roller is here.  Redefining the limit of what is possible on a downhill bike, this brand-new tyre has already taken gravity athletes Jackson Goldstone, Ronan Dunne, Marine Cabirou and Ellie Hulsebosch to the top of World Cup podiums.

Positioning itself between the Assegai and the Shorty in the Maxxis gravity range, the High Roller III combines an open centre tread pattern and with large, well-supported side knobs to withstand extreme cornering forces.

The High Roller 3 tyre has a hybrid tread design that provides the soil penetration of a wet weather mid-spike while retaining the cornering control and hard surface traction of a dry conditions tyre.

The High Roller III was developed for the demands of modern downhill. Available in DH casing, DoubleDown casing or EXO+ casing. More compound and casing options will follow.

3C MaxxGrip
3C MaxxGrip uses the softest rubber compounds to offer the ultimate in grip and slow rebound properties for unparalleled traction in downhill applications

DoubleDown
DoubleDown (DD) is the next step in the evolution of the dual-ply tyre casing for enduro racing. Two 120 TPI casing layers reinforced with a butyl insert provide the enduro racer with the support and protection of a downhill tyre, but in a lighter package

Wide Trail
Wide Trail (WT) construction optimises the tyre's tread layout and profile on today's modern, wider rims. Traditional tyres are designed around older, narrower rims and can create an overly square tyre profile, leading to less than optimal performance. WT tyres are optimised for a 35mm inner rim width but are proven to work over a range from 30-35mm inner rim widths, depending on the riders preference

Tubeless Ready
Tubeless tyres provide the rider with many benefits: the ability to run lower air pressures, which improves traction; lower rolling resistance when compared to a tube-type tyre; and less chance of flatting since there is no tube.

Butyl Insert

The Downhill version of the tyre has an extra piece of butyl rubber that extends from the bead of a downhill tyre up into the sidewall. The butyl insert helps prevent pinch flats, protects the rim from hard hits and adds sidewall stability
