A softly resonant ceramic chime shaped like a cat in rest. A breeze sets the tail in motion, a soft clink from inside the clay…like a hidden cat saying hello

Handmade in small batches, each piece is unique. Made slowly, meant to last. Because even everyday rituals deserve attention.

Each bowl takes 5 days of slow work: 3 hours of kneading + forming + 1 hour of glazing + 2 long firings over 48 hours + 3 days of patient drying

How It Lives in a Space

Suspended by a simple cord, the chime responds to light movement.
Its sound is subtle and un-insistent, more presence than performance.

The cat form is abstracted, just enough to be recognised without becoming decorative. It belongs quietly, near a window, balcony, or threshold.

Craft & Materials

Each chime is handmade in ceramic, shaped and glazed individually.
Variations in surface, glaze flow, and tone are natural and intentional, reflecting the pace of handwork rather than uniformity.

The bell and clapper are balanced to produce a low, gentle sound rather than a sharp ring.

Care & Use

  • Wipe clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth
  • Avoid impact or dropping, as with all ceramics
  • Best placed where it can move freely without striking hard surfaces
