French Military Surplus

Anorak parka used by the French army in the 1960s. Reversible design in snow and olive colors, intended for use in the snowy mountains by mountain troops. Also known as an alpine parka.

Smock style with a hood. The hood is also reversible.

Four front pockets (same on the snow side).

Underarm ventilation holes.

Drawcords at the hood, waist, and hem.

Sleeves are tube-shaped without adjusters.

Features a belt that goes through the crotch to secure the hem and prevent flapping.

Missing a button on the lower right pocket of the snow side and on the crotch belt. Otherwise, there are only minor stains, and there is no noticeable damage considering the age.

The snow side is white, so it has some dirt, but there is little fading, and there are no fraying on the cuffs or hem, nor any tears or holes.

There are no repair marks, and the condition is quite good.

Larger sizes are relatively easy to find, but a small size with the old size notation is rare.
