Description: The French Angel is a beautiful black fish with striking yellow stripes as a juvenile. As this fish grows, it will lose the yellow striping and will display a yellow, mottled scale pattern as an adult. This fish would make a wonderful addition to larger fish-only or FOWLR aquaria. This angel originates from the Caribbean. Avoid mixing with other large angels, especially Queen Angels and Gray Angels. This fish is not reef safe as it will nip at sessile, fleshy invertebrates. It is sensitive to disease, so a UV sterilizer and protein skimmer are a must.
