In summer of 2021, I was hired to make tiles to decorate the new chimney swift nesting area in downtown Kent, Ohio. Since it is outdoor public art, the chimney swift tiles on the nesting area are larger than my standard sizes to make them more visible from a distance. I am not sure if I will add those bigger 8"x8" swift tiles to the online store, but the project did inspire me to make some smaller, 4"x4" versions of the designs. This "flying swift" is now available, in addition to the "nesting" version in this same 4x4 inch size.
Price listed here is for a single 4x4 inch tile, group photos are for reference only.


This tile is about a half inch thick at the edge; thicker in the middle where the bird is.

    With proper care, this tile may last thousands of years! Can be installed in kitchens, bathrooms, showers and more. Made by hand in the Arts and Crafts tradition
