Humidity is equally important, as different species require specific levels to stay healthy and hydrated. For instance, a crested gecko thrives in high humidity, while a uromastyx needs a drier environment. A hygrometer is essential to ensure the humidity matches your pet’s requirements.

The Exo Terra Digital Combometer serves as both a thermometer and hygrometer in one convenient device. Featuring a probe and a clear digital readout, it provides precise data on your reptile’s enclosure conditions, surpassing the accuracy of analog tools. It also includes a customizable minimum/maximum memory feature for added convenience. Easily attach it using the provided hook and loop fastener or slide it into place on an Exo Terra Compact Top or Linear Fluorescent Top.

Usage Instructions:

Position the probe in either the warm basking zone or the cooler side of the terrarium, based on where you need to measure temperature and humidity. For optimal monitoring, use two Exo Terra Digital Combometers, placing one at each end of the terrarium to track gradients effectively.

Note: Battery is NOT included — requires one LR44 AG13 A76 button battery to operate.

1. Is this device waterproof? Can it handle misting?

The Exo Terra Digital Combometer is water-resistant but not suitable for submersion in water.

2. Does it require a power outlet? Is it compatible with all tanks?

This device runs on a battery and is versatile enough to work with any tank size. It can be mounted with a screw, the included strip, or by sliding into place with an Exo Terra Compact Top or Linear Fluorescent Top.

3. Can it control a fogger or turn it off at certain humidity levels?

This product solely measures temperature and humidity. It does not function as a thermostat or hydrostat, so it won’t automatically adjust equipment. However, it provides accurate readings to help you make necessary adjustments.
