The Emma is the result of a late-night studio session. Created through hand-pinching as a quick way to sketch a rough 3D concept, this specific silhouette proved to be uniquely suited for a miniature scale, resulting in a wonderfully distinct, petite form.
Built in Vienna from reclaimed studio stoneware scraps, the vase carries its own distinct history, ensuring no two batches are identical. It is dipped in a slip made from wild clay foraged along Colombia’s Magdalena River. When fired, this ancient sediment transforms into an unexpected matte-metallic surface that catches light like a raw mineral. Bridging two separate geographies, each piece stands as an authentic collaboration between earth and craft.
