Maintain EcoTech Marine VorTech Propeller Pump operation even during an electrical power outage. EcoTech Marine Battery Backup provides uninterrupted power to EcoTech Marine VorTech QuietDrive Propeller Pumps to sustain vital aquarium water movement for up to 72 hours with the MP10, up to 36 hours with the MP40, and up to 20 hours with the MP60. Connect Battery Backup to another unit to double the backup run time. Comes with trickle charger and necessary wiring cables. Powder-coated white aluminum housing. EcoTech Battery Backup unit measures 9" x 7" x 3-1/4" high.

The EcoTech Marine Battery Backup may also be used with the EcoTech Marine Vectra M1 Centrifugal Pump and the EcoTech Marine Vectra L1 Centrifugal Pump when used in conjunction with the EcoTech Marine Vectra Battery Backup Booster. Each sold separately.

Operations and Maintenance
The battery backup should be maintained around 70º F to keep it in optimal condition. The life of the battery will also depend on the number of discharges that the unit has been cycled through. Every time the unit is cycled, the life of the battery and its capacity is reduced.
