Dymax’s Clear Mix is a macro-porous, synthetic polymer absorbent that leaves your planted tank's water crystal clear. Clear Mix works by removing soluble and insoluble impurities found in the water column. Dymax Clear Mix works quickly and is very powerful, exceeding the average filtration rate and capacity of competing media by 5 times. Clear Mix stabilizes ammonia, nitrites and nitrate levels by removing nitrogenous waste such as organics, fish waste and leftover food. Clear Mix affects trace elements minimally and can be reconstituted when thoroughly exhausted.

Cleaning and Recharge Instructions:

1. Mix bleach and clean water in a 1:1 ratio. Add the bag to the solution.
2. Allow the bag to soak in the solution for a minimum of 24 hours.
3. Once the bag has lightened visibly, rinse the bag thoroughly in dechlorinated water.
4. After rinsing, allow the bag to soak in a new container of dechlorinated water for an additional 8 hours, minimum.
5. Rinse thoroughly again, and it is ready to reuse!
