This is a DSS Chair, originally designed by Ray and Charles Eames in the 1950s. These examples were produced by Modernica in Los Angeles, California C. 2018. The chairs are comprised of a yellow fiberglass shell seat atop a chrome steel stacking base. DSS is an acronym for Dining Height Side Chair Stacking Base. Each chair measures 21.5 inches deep, 23.125 inches wide, and 31.75 inches high, with a seat height of 18 inches. The shell seats do have a few white and black marks on them, but overall these chairs are in very good to excellent condition with some minor wear. Please see photos.
