The Double Six single speed kit is our premium level kit featuring a 7mm wide spline base Shimano HG fit cog to ensure power transfer doesn’t score or destroy alloy freehub bodies. Our tapered spacers are designed to offer increased lateral support for the sprocket under load.
Sprocket teeth are designed for a narrow 3/32" 9-speed chain, although wider, 1/8" single speed chains can also be successfully used.
Fitting a new chain is recommended, as a pre-used chain will likely be worn and may not mesh well with the fresh, unworn sprocket.
Designed to fit MTB width Shimano HG type freehubs, but can be run on a 11-speed road HG freehub with an additional 1.8mm spacer.
This kit is supplied with:
- 12t CNC Chromo 5/64" sprocket for micro drive set ups.
- 2x CNC alloy spacers with laser etching.
- Lock ring
Shimano HG compatible only.
13/14/15/16/17/18/19t sprockets available separately.
