The DFRobot HCR Mobile Robot Kit is a two wheel drive mobile robot platform which has three levels included (if you want, you can use only the parts you need, or make a two level robot). The kit includes two motors, 2 wheels (and one rotating third caster) and all associated plates and hardware. The supports include spaces for servos and sensors and the base has holes specifically for mini-itx motherboards.
As the second generation of DFRobot's HCR (Home Care Robot) platform, it has a new motor and wheels. The customized high-quality DC motor comes with light coding structure, is quiet and has high torque. The encoder has 663 pulses per revolution, which makes the wheel rotation at an accuracy of 0.54 degrees. The resolution can meet general requirements of common PID speed controller. Whats more, the new HCR platform gives users brand new experience, for example installing a Kinect.
