This is a pair of DCM Chairs, initially designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1946. This pair dates to the 1960s, and the listed price includes the pair of two chairs as shown. They were produced by Herman Miller, and they retain their tags under the seats. Their design features a bent-plywood seat and back with a rosewood veneer face, and the chairs have splayed tubular steel legs.
Each chair measures 17.5 inches deep, 19.5 inches wide, and 29.5 inches high. They have a seat height of 18 inches. The chair backs have both been professionally repaired. One had holes drilled through by the shock mounts which were addressed, and the other had a veneer issue on one side. The repairs were done extremely well. There are perhaps a few surface blemishes to the seats and backs. Overall, the pair remains in good vintage condition. Please see photos.
