Based on the information available about this Crypt, this variation seems to produce narrow growth when growing in more submerged conditions and may put out fatter leaves when in marginal growing conditions. Younger leaves appear to to present a mottled pattern and overall color includes green to brown tones. Final size, shape and hue are determined by the environment in which it is kept.
