Also refered to as the Common Plecostomus, these species can get quite large depending on your tank, they are known to grow faster if you have larger aquarium set ups.
These guys a extremely peaceful, and pretty much just camouflage within your aquarium tank, either dwelling on the bottom or hanging on the side of your plants and rocks. There are many variety of plecos, ranging from many different colors and patterns. These fish are for the most part herbivores and would recommend feeding algae wafers, or if you have a densely planted aquarium, they will eat unwanted algae for you.
