Citrine is a transparent and yellow variety of Quartz, ranging in color from pale to golden yellow, honey, or even brown.  It may contain rainbow and sparkle inclusions.  The name comes from the French word citron, which means lemon.  As its color might suggest, Citrine carries the power of the sun, giving life, power, energy, and warmth. 

Citrine Metaphysical Properties

Citrine has some extraordinary metaphysical properties.  It can be an excellent tool to keep nearby or in your hand.  It is said to increase the flow of money-based energy from one hand to another, thus the name "prosperity stone."  Citrine also represents spiritual joy since it spreads positive, energetic light.
