Six glasses. Deep cranberry with a gold iridescent glow that catches the light like nothing else on the table. King's Crown at its most dramatic.

This is a set of six vintage cranberry iridescent champagne coupes / tall sherbets in the King's Crown pattern (also known as Thumbprint and Colony Crown) by Indiana Glass Company, Dunkirk, Indiana. Circa 1959–1971. Absolutely pristine condition — no chips, scratches, or issues with the flashing on any of the six. One set available.

The King's Crown story is a long one. The pattern originated with Adams Glass Co. in the late 1800s, was widely copied, and was reintroduced by Indiana Glass as Line #77 in 1959. When Indiana Glass merged with Lancaster Glass Corporation in 1961, the pattern continued under the Colony brand as Colony Crown. These are believed to be Indiana/Colony production based on their straight sides (only a slight flare at the top), two mold marks (vs. three on Tiffin), and their height of 3⅛ inches (vs. 3.0 inches for Tiffin). Collectors should review the photos and reach out with questions — we're happy to provide additional images.

The cranberry iridescent colorway is the most sought-after in the King's Crown line — perfect for a holiday table, a Valentine's dinner, or a bar cart that doesn't apologize for being beautiful.
