BSO Sludge Buster

Bactoplus BSO Sludge Buster contains heterotrophic bacteria which naturally break down and decompose organic waste in ponds such as silt at the base of the pond, in pond filters, and the dust layer that forms on underwater plants. A thick layer of organic waste on the bottom of your pond cannot be removed by simple adding Bactoplus Sludge Buster, however it is essential to avoid the build up of such a layer, regular use prevents this and keeps your pond healthy.

Research has shown that heterotrophic bacteria also play an important role in maintaining the biofilm in your filter, increasing the importance and advantages of regular use of Bactoplus BSO Sludge Buster.

Dosage:
First use or removing a build-up layer of sludge: Add 25ml per 1,000 litres of water weekly, until the desired effect have been achieved.

For maintenance: Add 25ml per 1,000 litres of water, every month.

Shake well before use. The temperature of the water should be al least 10°C, when used at lower temperatures dosage should be doubled. The cap contains 15ml. Equipment such as UV or Ozone generators must be switched off for 24 hours after application. Prevent from freezing, and store out of reach of children.
