The Classic T-Bone Truck Bed Extender by Boonedox is a hitch-mounted accessory designed to extend the usable length of a pickup truck bed by about 4 feet. It’s especially made for hauling long items like kayaks, canoes, lumber, or gear that overhangs the bed. 

• Material: Aircraft-grade aluminum (won’t rust).

Disclaimer:

• Securing the load: The “ears” (plastic parts) are not designed to handle the full strap loads. The strapping must go through the crossbar, not through those ears. Tensioning incorrectly could lead to breakage.
  
• Legal/road safety: Overhangs sometimes are regulated (flags, lights). Extending cargo may require compliance with local road laws.
  
• Weight limits: Even though it supports 300 lbs., that’s distributed weight. If concentrated loads or bouncing over rough terrain, the stress could be more.
