Blume Fabric

This is Blume.

These flowers were borrowed from a memory of the best curtains ever seen, hanging in the window of an old Austrian mountain hut.

After Blume was drawn, the design was sent to India where it was hand-carved onto wooden blocks and printed on linen. Minnie Parker had hoped to keep production in the UK, but the natural imperfection of the block-printed Blume improved the design, and the best flowers from that journey to India and back made it onto the final artwork.

Blume is now printed in Macclesfield along with all other fabrics and wall coverings in the Minnie Parker collection.

Price is per metre.

The standard vertical fabric repeat for Blume is 4.8 cm. Blume is also available in a larger format with a vertical repeat of 7 cm. Both have a horizontal repeat of 137 cm. Please specify which size is preferred when ordering.

Please note that fabric batches may vary slightly. A small amount of meterage is kept in stock; larger quantities are printed to order with a four-week lead time.
