Blue Ridge Upgrade Kit

Upgrade your Blue Ridge to the newest standard! We've made our improvements backwards-compatible, so you can give your harness an upgrade for an affordable price.

What's new? TPU bridges and TPU straps! Our custom-made TPU bridges keep your straps in place side-to-side while still allowing movement along the strap (which is essential for getting TPU straps tight).

As for TPU straps, we had some special made for harness use! Ours have a 28" length but a narrow width to save some weight. If you'd like to switch to those you can purchase one pair with your TPU bridges at $10 off (discount will appear at checkout once you enter the same email address used to purchase your Blue ridge).

Installation Notes

If you're re-using your existing Blue Ridge straps, you have the choice to either re-install them onto the bars with the webbing loops, or cut the loops off and melt the ends. We recommend removing the loops for future versatility (so the straps can be swapped, or removed if needed for a backcountry repair, etc).

In order to install the bridges, you will need to cut off the end caps from the top bar of your Blue Ridge, and then install new ones with super glue when finished. We will provide a tube of glue with domestic orders, but for international ones you'll have to find some locally due to shipping restrictions.

Local customers can swing by the shop for the upgrade if you'd like - it only takes a couple of minutes and we won't charge for the labor, just the parts.
