This hardy plant loves hot and bright conditions. While they are traditionally grown near water, they are quite drought tolerant once established. This plant is versatile and can find an application in most gardens.
The leaves are upright, tall, and thin. They are blue-green in colour and can reach a height of up to 4 feet. The foliage clump is quite dense and can grow to about 3 feet wide. Plant along the edge of ponds or pools in a staggered row for a nice border.
'Blue Arrows' does bloom, however the blooms are not overly exciting and it is grown primarily for its foliage.
