Oase BioPearls filter media ensures crystal-clear and biologically perfect aquarium water quality. BioPearls have a special porous structure which provides the optimal environment for beneficial bacteria to colonise and thrive, with 1 litre of BioPearls Media providing 500m² of surface area. Thanks to their small 5mm size and round shape, BioPearls allow for optimum water flow through the media. In addition, BioPearls are of purely natural origin and extremely durable, retaining their shape for a long time. They therefore offer an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional plastic filter media.
Directions:
For best results, Oase BioPearls should be rinsed prior to use and placed in a position to maximise the through flow of water. This makes them ideal for use in an external canister filter, internal filter, hang on filter, or a trickle filter.
