Description: The Bicolor Angel originates from lagoons, seaward reef slopes, and reef drop-offs from a wide range in the Indo-Pacific. They are distinguishable from their vibrant yellow head and caudal fin, with a deep blue posterior. This fish is not reef safe, as it will nip at sessile invertebrates. This fish will appreciate ample rockwork to hide amongst as it becomes acclimated to the aquarium. It is essential to feed this fish a varied diet that includes a high-quality marine fish pellet, frozen meaty foods, and veggie-based foods. The utilization of a protein skimmer and UV sterilizer is recommended, as angelfish are prone to disease. When first introduced, the Bicolor Angelfish may act shy, but as this fish becomes more established, it will become more confident and territorial. Do not mix with other Centropyge sp. angelfish.
