The BACK UP LINE is a compact and thin cord that can be used for hauling, a rappelling tagline or as a guideline system for rescue. Its rough sheath allows for perfect handling and better control in all circumstances. The aramid and polyamide used in the design of this cord makes it ultra-light: only 21g/m. Since it is also ultra-static and does not absorb energy at all, it should not be used for roping, progressing or any situation requiring dynamic qualities.
