The 2" Polarizing Filter is the best all-purpose lunar and planetary filter. It cuts glare and increases contrast on the moon and planets. In addition to polarizing the light, the Polarizing Filter reduces its intensity by a factor of about 3. It may be double-stacked with color filters for use on bright planets. It is also useful for daylight observation of land, sea and nature. Fits 2" eyepieces.
