Installation is quick and easy; they are self-priming and include both hanging clips for use with framed aquariums and suction cups for use with frameless aquariums. The filters include an Aqueon dual-sided replaceable cartridge containing carbon for chemical filtration. The QuietFlow E Internal Filter also includes a bioholster for beneficial bacteria to grow (biological filtration) and a coarse media sponge for additional mechanical filtration.
