AquaActiv OxyPlus 500ml

Oase AquaActiv OxyPlus - Pond Oxygen Booster provides emergency aid for reduced oxygen levels in fish ponds. During high water temperatures in particular, a shortage of oxygen can occur in the pond. Deeper regions are particularly affected in this regard. A sure signal that there is a lack of oxygen is if fish are gasping for air on the pond surface or if the filter performance is poor.

OxyPlus contains active oxygen with deposit effect, which allows the vital oxygen to penetrate deep into the pond. Formation of fermentation gas can be particularly avoided through this measure. Through regular application of AquaActiv OxyPlus the biological self-cleaning capacity of the pond can be significantly improved. OxyPlus is also recommended if there is a high level of algae bloom, particularly to counter the oxygen shortage that occurs at night. Optimal supplement products for use with OxyPlus are Oase OptiPond and Oase SediFree.

Application:
Distribute approx. 10 to 20ml per 1,000 litres of pond water over the surface of the pond at regular intervals of 8 to 10 days. Increase the dosage to 50ml in cases of acute lack of the oxygen. Use OptiPond additionally if the carbonate hardness (QuickStick) is below5° dKH. Can also be used in late fall to avoid formation of fermentation gases in winter.
