Apogee Instruments PQ-612 microCache and ePAR Sensor Package with 2 Meter Cable

The PQ-612 Package is a promotional package that includes a SQ-610-SS2 Extended Photosynthetically Active Radiation (ePAR) sensor (with a 2-meter cable), a microCache Bluetooth micro-logger, an AA-090 protective Neoprene Case, an extra 2545 microCache battery, and an AM-020 Apogee PVC Sensor Platform. The extended 2-meter cable of the SS2 model allows the microCache to be positioned further from the sensor, such as out of the water when used with coral reef tanks or for other applications. When paired, these two devices are a powerful tool for monitoring total photon flux intensity with research-grade accuracy for optimal specimen growth. The new SQ-610 ePAR was created in 2021 to measure the newly defined 400-750 nm ePAR radiation range that emerging research is showing to be photosynthetically active beyond the traditional 400-700 nm range. Many next-generation LED fixtures, the sun, and other light sources emit these extended photosynthetic wavelengths, but they have not been measurable by traditional PAR meters until now.

The new AT-100 microCache (µCache) micro-logger is a rugged, standalone, battery-powered device that can collect over 400,000 data points and connects your sensor to your iOS or Android device via Bluetooth using our free ApogeeConnect app. The app allows you to make real-time measurements, set custom data logging intervals, monitor and graph daily lights integrals, assure photoperiods, download datasets, and more.

The AM-020 is a handy, soft PVC sensor stabilizing platform that has a counter-sunk hole allowing attachment of Apogee light sensor heads for sitting on tables and other surfaces. This platform will keep the sensor upright but does not ensure the sensor is level. For long-term, mounted applications that require perfect leveling, we recommend using our model AL-120 mounting bracket with leveling plate.

The AA-090 is a 5" x 8" x 1" zippered neoprene pouch is great for safely storing Apogee meters, microCache devices, and sensors. Water resistant.
