Concentrated botanical extract of Melaleuca Tea Tree treats coral AND saltwater fish bacterial infections. API MARINE MELAFIX provides a safe and all-natural way to treat open red sores, fin and tail rot, open body wounds, eye cloud, pop eye, body slime and mouth fungus on marine fish. Helps rapidly repair damaged fins, ulcers, and open wounds as well as promoting regrowth of damaged tissue and fins.

API MARINE MELAFIX is excellent for use as a coral dip. Treat new coral additions to help control bacterial infections, reverse tissue degradation and for the removal of parasitic flatworms.

API MARINE MELAFIX will not harm the biological filter and may be used in all marine and reef aquariums. 16 oz MARINE MELAFIX treats 948 gallons.

Directions
Use dosing cap on bottle. As a disease or wound treatment for marine fish and corals in the aquarium: Remove activated carbon and turn off protein skimmer.
Shake Well.

Dose: Add 5ml per 10 US gallons of aquarium water. Dose daily for 7 days. After 7 days, make a 25% water change. Replace activated carbon and turn off protein skimmer. The protein skimmer will collect excess foam. Be prepared to dispose of foam, as it will be significant. It may be necessary to turn down the protein skimmer for a few days until the foaming subsides.

As a Coral Dip
Corals may be treated in small containers and then placed in the aquarium.
Shake Well.

Dose:
Add 20ml per 1/2 US gallon of aquarium water. Make sure the water temperature, pH, and salinity are correct. Place the coral in the water for 3-5 minutes. Shake corals underwater to help dislodge worms. After a maximum treatment time of 5 minutes, place the corals in the aquarium.
