This quilt is a pair my grandmother made during the Great Depression, along with six floral quilts. These are her original designs. This one has yellow flowers with a pink center and rich green stems and leaves.
It is quilted in the same way, with diagonal rows and outlines quilted around the flowers, leaves and stems. The border is yellow, the backing and binding are white. This quilt is probably used a bit more because there are a couple of yellowish stains, a little refreshment, a little black spot, and a few small dots around the edges, none of which really detract from the quilt's beauty or usefulness.
