Aloe Jaco (Aloe jaco)

Aloe, a genus of around 400 species, is native to Africa, Arabia, and Madagascar. Aloes, whether small or dwarf, are increasingly sought after in colder regions as they can be brought indoors during the toughest winter months.

Elevate your indoor garden with Aloe Jaco. This low-maintenance plant thrives on bright light and can even be taken outside in the summer. With proper care, this plant adds a touch of green to any room. Water once every 6-8 days in the summer and once every 10-15 days in the winter.

Aloe vera is grown as a beneficial plant in tropical and subtropical regions worldwide. With thick, fleshy, lance-shaped leaves containing a jelly-like tissue juice, it typically grows in rosette formations and can bloom from March to May. The flower cluster emerges from the center of the rosette, producing vibrant flowers in shades of orange, yellow or red.

Position Aloe Jaco in a well-lit, warm area. Ensure that the soil is well-drained and includes mineral components, along with cactus and succulent soil. Allow excess water to drain and dry out the soil before watering again, to prevent water stagnation.

Aloe Jaco is a versatile and low maintenance succulent that thrives in cactus and succulent soil. It can be placed outdoors during summer, but should be gradually acclimated to direct sunlight. With occasional fertilizer and minimal watering, this plant will flourish. Please note that its leaf bark contains a slightly toxic yellow sap.
