Tetra AlguMin has a new and improved formula which rapidly combats all types of algae and effectively prevents new algae growth. AlguMin gets to work fast with the active ingredient being released immediately so the treatment can get to work. The liquid formula also provides optimum, even distribution throughout the aquarium.

Tetra AlguMin contains natural peat extracts and the algicide monolinuron for the prevention and control of algae. AlguMin also darkens aquarium water reducing light penetration which then inhibits further algae growth. Tetra AlguMin is safe for use in all freshwater aquarium set-ups and is harmless to fish and plants.

Algae in aquariums not only looks unsightly but also inhibits the growth of natural aquarium plants. Furthermore long term algae issues will negatively influence the biological balance within the aquarium. Algae growth occurs for two main reasons; too much light exposure and excess nutrients within the water. Regular use of Tetra Easy Balance will help remove these excess nutrients reducing the levels of Phosphate and Nitrate which are the main food source for unwanted algae.

Tetra AlguMin Dosage Prevention:
Add 5ml per 20 litres of aquarium water every 4 weeks.

Tetra AlguMin Dosage Control:
Add 5ml per 10 litres of aquarium water. Repeat after 4 weeks if required.
