Aither Vintage Table Runner

Exceptionally rare and delicately woven, this museum-grade vintage Greek textile carries the airy elegance of a bygone time. Pale and whisper-thin, its gauzy linen is scattered with hand-embroidered dots in cheerful primary hues—anchored by luminous ikat-woven bands of saffron, cobalt, and burgundy. The faded hues, airy weave, and jewel-toned bands make it feel like a rare relic from another era, yet somehow still light enough for today. Likely used as a ceremonial or festive covering, its age only adds to its magic. Featherlight and soulful, it lends quiet beauty to any space, especially when layered over natural wood or white linen. As each piece was painstakingly handmade on a loom, there can be natural defects, as well as minor signs of age, appropriate to its provenance and past use, which we find quite beautiful, adding to its soul.
