Activator Gel

Bactoplus Activator Gel has been designed to activate bacteria in your pond. Activator Gel contains a mix of natural minerals, trace elements and specially selected nutrients and bacteria. The use of Bactoplus Activator Gel in new ponds is only viable when a filter starter such as Bactoplus Filter Start has already been used. In existing ponds Activator Gel can be used without any reservations as the bacteria are already present. Activator Gel is an ideal maintenance product given the improved bacteria performance the water quality will improve in turn and algae growth will be reduced.

For filter maintenance and removal of sludge and residues you can use BactoPlus BSO Sludge Buster.

Dosage:
First use: Add 50ml per 1,000 litres of water.

After filter cleaning or water changes: Add 25ml per 1,000 litres of water.

Maintenance: Add 25ml per 1,000 litres of water monthly.

The temperature of the water should be al least 10°C, when used at lower temperatures dosage should be doubled. The cap contains 15ml. Apply the Gel to the filter material; the water circulation should be stopped while the filter is properly aerated for 12 hours. After 12 hours start water circulation but keep UV and ozone equipment switched off for at least 24 hours. Store frost free and out of reach of children.
