When Abel dropped their original nippers in 2007, the game changed. Dual opposing cutting surfaces, no flimsy anvil — just pure, precise cutting power from 8X tippet through to braid. Still the benchmark.

The updated design keeps that razor-sharp cut but adds smarter ergonomics, a type III anodised body, and a magnetic “spring” system powered by rare earth magnets. No hinge, no corrosion, no sticking — just consistently smooth action. Those same magnets double as a handy fly dock while you rig up, which is as clever as it is useful.
