7/16" ID Siphon Tubing

Our 7/16" inner diameter siphon tubing is constructed from food-grade vinyl and is specially formulated for siphoning applications, including all beverages like beer, wine, cider, mean and water!  The clear food-grade vinyl tubing has superior taste protection properties to ensure no flavor pickup during usage.

Usage:

7/16" ID tubing is the most commonly used size of tubing for people who are using 1/2" OD siphons, including the standard 1/2" OD racking cane and the 1/2" OD auto siphon.  When using the 7/16" ID tubing for the first time, it can be difficult to fit over the 1/2 OD siphon stems.  To make usage easy, just prior to assembling for the first time, dip an end of the 7/16"  ID tubing in boiling water to soften it.  Now it will easily stretch and slide over the 1/2" OD siphon stem.  The next time you use it, you will find that the tubing end has permanently stretched, which will make these future assemblies easy!
